Growth Index

Which places make the future easier to build?

Future Union is building a source-backed index of the places, councils, systems, and blockers that shape whether homes, energy, infrastructure, and enterprise actually happen.

First source pass

The useful first action is evidence collection.

A credible index starts with source families, update paths, caveats, and public output shapes. The league table comes later, after review.

A source pass means collecting and checking the public data before any scoring.

What the product should become

A score should become pressure, not a PDF.

The Growth Index only matters if it gives residents, journalists, builders, councillors, and organisers something they can use immediately.

No fake search box. No pretend leaderboard.

When this page ranks places, it should show a source trail a sceptic can inspect. Until then, the work is method, data collection, and review.
